Thanks Tom. He was quite a character. I felt i had to get my thoughts down. it was an emotional time and one contemplating life and what we do with our time here

I loved it.. I could picture the house, the cat, everything. The tight, affectionate prose took me somewhere - and made me feel warm. That's a skill.

This was a beautiful homage, Nick! Thank you for sharing. I love stories of old grumpy fellows who fawn over cats. Reminds me of Dr. Johnson and Hodge. 😊

thanks for reading and your kind words! Knowing old keith he would have just grumbled about "airing the dirty laundry" or shouted at me that i had forgotten some other NHS transgression or other. he was a very particular chap. I inherited his excellent lightsaber for which im very grateful
