Ironically I've never believed a word of the AGW hypothesis (the historical climate data disproves it). I would not, however, put it past the bad guys to mess with the weather to make it seem like it's happening. Furthermore, there are all these wars going on, which send massive amounts of dust up into the atmosphere, along with destroying the ozone layer (nuclear winters would be much worse of course). AGW is, in this sense, a method of distracting people from all the genuinely important environmental issues. When does anyone ever really talk anymore about the ozone layer, or deforestation, or corporations dumping toxic waste, to name but three? I seriously doubt young people today know anything about the environment.
I would also not be surprised, given my Solaris Hypothesis, if Gaia herself says 'ok, you want climate change? I'll give you climate change!'.
I so wanted to have higher sea levels though. So if it couldn't be non-happening global warming, then it's got to be an asteroid.

We’re deep in the denial stage on this one. It is existential not partisan. Treating it as such will get us all killed. It’s survival.
